Miranda Kennett

Miranda combines her broad business experience with a deep understanding of what makes people tick.

She has worked extensively with individuals and teams in a broad range of businesses, particularly in organisations with a creative output, and her clients include leading figures in FTSE 100 companies, as well as the founders of small, independent businesses.

Working with senior individuals and teams has demonstrated to Miranda that many people in business achieve less for themselves and their organisations than they are capable of and with lower levels of job satisfaction than they desire. As a result she has developed an approach to coaching which is based on helping her clients to become more effective and happier in their work.

She works with the whole person, not just the bit that presents at work, to ensure that all a person’s resources can be mobilised. She uses personality profiling to provide an additional perspective and encourages her clients to seek feedback, as a reality check for progress.

Miranda has been a management coach since 1990, when she started her own business working with companies in the marketing communications sector to help them realise their potential. Before this she had worked in publishing and advertising, latterly at board level, and as Director of Training & Development of the IPA during the 90s.

Miranda Kennett is the founder of First Class Coach, a partnership of experienced coaches formed in 2003. Prior to this she was CEO of The Coaching House, a respected coaching organisation she led for 10 years.

"We had a fab time and have already done some stuff!! A big part of it being so effective was that:

a. You understand our business and us

b. We trust you utterly

Generally inspirational."
