Kate Springford

Kate excels at helping her clients develop their interpersonal skills so as to maximize the positive effect they can have on their professional and personal relationships.

She works with individuals and with groups, both with those who are already at the top of their organisations and those on the way up. Typically, her clients are in transition – a promotion, a merger, a new role – and the working relationships she develops tend to endure, with clients returning to her at particular stages in their working lives, or in the evolution of their organisations.

She has a particular skill in enabling her clients to increase the performance they get from their people, through a combination of increased awareness of the effect they have on others and an enhanced ability to utilise the ‘pull’ styles of leadership.

She has had considerable success at improving the working relationships between businesses so that they can transcend the client/supplier limitations.

Kate has worked over many years with a diverse group of clients in the private and public sector, establishing a particular track record for her work with senior management in businesses with a creative product. She combines her one to one work with team coaching for leading businesses. She is a senior associate of Ashridge Management College.

Qualifications

Kate has been a fully qualified, practicing psychoanalyst for more than twenty years, and is a Member of the Guild of Psychotherapists. She has an Honours degree in Modern Languages and is a fluent French speaker. She is an accredited user of a number of personality profiling inventories and holder of the British Psychological Society’s psychometric assessment qualification.
