I started my career as a line manager in a leading financial services organisation, before moving to an internal consultancy
role working with the senior executive team.
Having been given feedback training and worked on a number
of leadership programmes, I realised the power of individual coaching to effect meaningful change. This convinced me to
resign from my job in 1986 and build my own business in
coaching and development.
I work with a wide variety of business sectors, from large
multi-nationals to small not-for-profit organisations. My experience of line management combined with many years working with executives from all walks of life helps me to understand the challenges my clients face, and to believe that they have the resources to deal with them.
I work frequently in Europe, and have particular interest in
multi-national teams and cross-cultural working. Sometimes,
my coaching is aimed at helping people cope with the day to
day demands of their job, or easing them into a new and bigger
role, sometimes it is focused on developing a particular skill,
and occasionally it is about helping them to make life-changing decisions. In all these cases, I derive huge satisfaction from seeing a client achieve their full potential. |
